THE COMPANY

Corinto is a Greek company that produces premium extra virgin olive oil exclusively from Manaki variety olives, sourced from our own olive groves and from cooperating local producers. Our family’s century-long experience with the Manaki variety has created a legacy of deep knowledge and love for our craft which is now infused with modern practices.

Corinto is based in Lechaion (Corinth), where οur state-of-the-art facilities cover all the strict specifications of the new ISO 22000: 2018 and FSSC 22000 for maximum safety and hygiene. Quality assurance (ISO) and food safety (HACCP) systems are applied during standardization to maintain our olive oil’s consistent taste characteristics. Our commitment is to yield only the most high-quality results and deliver first-rate products.

THE 6 STAGES

Each olive’s journey, from harvest to standardization, is made out of a number of procedures, selected and implemented to warrant the final products’ purity.

Olive fruit collection is carried out with a minimum carbon footprint, is harmless to our olive trees and protects both the fruit and the final consumer from residues or industrial pollutants.

02. GATHERING

The olives are collected daily in our specially designed areas and placed in open storage baskets, which are ventilated to keep the fruit as fresh as it was on the tree.

03. OILING

Following the cold extraction method, our olive oil is extracted without heating or chemical processes. Therefore, we fully retain unaltered all its beneficial components for the final consumer.

04. SEDIMENTATION

The safeguard maximum clearness and purity, we opted for the method of natural sedimentation on specially designed stainless steel tanks.

05. STORAGE

We have invested in high-end storage systems that employ nitrogen, which help us maintain the stability of acidity levels, as well as premium quality and nutritional value.

06. STANDARDIZATION

Corinto Extra Virgin Olive Oil is standardized with the use of nitrogen. The headspace nitrogen saturation ensures that our olive oil remains fresh and its taste stays impeccable.
